The Story of Outpost 907

Outpost 907 is one of Santa’s many stations along his Christmas Route. You see…children used to only ask for one gift at Christmas time. Now, those Christmas lists are ever growing.

Today, Santa has outposts all over the world where Elves work to fill those extra wishes from children along the way.

But Santa's First Stop is Outpost 907...

At the journey’s very beginning, the first stop after Santa’s North Pole station is of course Alaska’s Outpost 907!

Your personal tour guides, also known as Santa’s Elves, will meet you approximately 5 minutes before your scheduled time.

Enjoy the Magic of Christmas!

Your group will be led by our Jolly Elves down Christmas Tree Lane.

Then, the adventure begins as sweet elves welcome your group at MRS. CLAUS’ BAKERY to warm you up with a warm cup of cocoa and a fresh baked cookie!

Santa’s Reindeer rest for his journey (with the exception of one naughty reindeer) so it is very important to tip toe past the reindeer barn, if your lucky you may just see his nose.

This playful walk is followed by a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to power up the life-sized SANTA’S SLEIGH with your very own personal Christmas Spirit! (* the sleigh is outdoors and this will be the only stop out in the cold. Outdoor heating is provided. Expect this experience to last 3 to 5 minutes)

See Inside Santa's Top Secret Spots.

See the magic behind the Wrapping Room on your way to the Toy Factory. You won’t forget the memorable Toy Factory where you will receive and enjoy your own old-fashioned toy, as well as a whimsical theatrical production.

Wait your turn for Santa Claus in his well-known office while learning about all of Santa’s magical gadgets and tools.

Meet the Big Man Himself!

Meet Santa himself in a personal setting, you will be declared on the nice list… or even the naughty list for those of you who didn’t quite make the cut this year!  A photo with Santa is included in your experience and will be sent directly to you via e-mail or airdrop before you leave the event.

When your tour is complete, and you’ve met with Santa, we ask that you head back down Christmas Tree Lane for the next group to have their time. Carol, the wishing elf, will say goodbye as you leave your heart’s special wish on our wishing tree.

We always welcome everyone to take photos around the Christmas Factory, capturing the lights and outdoor displays. We look forward to meeting you and creating lasting memories with you and your family this Holiday Season.

WHAT EXACTLY CAN YOU EXPECT AT THIS EVENT?

The Christmas Factory Event

This production was crafted and created from a local family here in the Mat-Su valley.  It is a small family owned business.

It is designed for the entire family ages little bitty to 110 years old. This production is a one hour INTERACTIVE THEATRICAL experience through Santa’s workshop with real elves. This is not a quick visit with Santa, it is a full experience, as if you were part of Christmas itself. Small group tours circulate through 3 buildings for a real feel experience. Each year The Christmas Factory has new adventures, characters, and stories with the same magical feeling.

Outpost 907 is located at the Red Gate entrance at the Alaska State Fairgrounds, right in the heart of Palmer, Alaska.

This production is open the day after Thanksgiving and runs tours each weekend until the 23rd of December.

Each group purchases tickets for the date and time they would be available to visit.  Guests receive confirmation via email to display at check in.  When the visit day arrives guests come and check in at the RED GATE ticket booth where one of Santa’s very own elves welcomes you to Outpost 907.  Approximately five minutes before your scheduled tour time your tour guide elves will come to greet your group.  These groups are a maximum of 25 people to create an intimate experience.  You are lead by your guides throughout this one hour long tour.

Things to know:

Remember, the majority of this interactive tour is spent indoors with the exceptions of small transitional times outdoors when walking from building to building. Please dress accordingly, ie. boots, gloves, hat, coat.  Although we have outdoor heaters along the way weather can sometimes be chilly.   We recommend that clothing be easily and quickly removed if you desire for Santa Photos.

All buildings are Handicap accessible and we love for everyone to be able to enjoy our event.  Please let us know of any special needs and we will do our best with each situation.

There is a one way route and flow through the buildings.  Strollers can sometimes be bulky so we suggest using baby carriers or holding your children.

All tours begin promptly. If your party is late you will miss part of the production.  Your group will only be caught up when the group transitions to the next building.
